In 2025 Chemnitz will become the European Capital of Culture. This was confirmed by the Conference of Ministers of Culture on 11 January 2021. Congratulations from NUE2025. Chemnitz’ concept under the title “C the Unseen—European Makers of Democracy” is convincing and has convinced. We are very excited about the implementation in 2025 and will certainly visit.
This marks the end of Nuremberg’s official application as European Capital of Culture 2025 and also for our (very) active period. We would like to continue to observe and accompany what new impulses have arisen from Nuremberg’s application and what effects it has in the city.
We are now discontinuing this newsletter, but we will remain active on our Facebook page and on Instagram for the latest news.
We would like to thank all those who have accompanied this process with their ideas and commitment.
